What does it mean when I try to access settings and get this message?
This error message may also read "Your SkyBell is offline".
This error message means that your SkyBell is losing connection to the internet which can be due to a weak signal or your router is having difficulties connecting to the internet.
Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Unplug your router and wait about 2 minutes. Reconnect your router to power.
- Press and hold your SkyBell's button until it starts flashing blue which is a system reboot
Your SkyBell should automatically reconnect with your home Wi-Fi and function properly. If you experience this issue again you may want to assess the distance your router is from your SkyBell. SkyBell can typically connect with a router 100 feet away line of sight. Walls and other signals can shorten the signal reach of your router.
You may also want to consider if your router is old or has too many devices connected to it causing it to sometimes drop connected devices.
